6’8” has his fingers in many pies; too many to mention! He has toured the world, (playing bass) with various bands, supporting many big name acts, e.g: James Brown, Gil Scott Heron, Roy Ayers, Maceo Parker, Don Blackman (to name a few), and he also played bass for Neneh Cherry for a couple of years.
6’8” was the driving force behind King Kooba, The Big Cheese Allstars, and is currently playing in the Dub Stars.
6’8” features on many, many compilation albums-under various pseudonyms.Syd and Charlie have been in various bands together over the years, including The Trip Cadets, Timewarp, and King Kooba.
